Can a Honda civic drive without the condensser

2001 Honda civic condensser is damaged and I need to replace it but I need to drive the car to a meeting.

If I remove the condensser can I still use the car and what happens to the A/C system and will I be able to use the defrosters since it automatically turns on my A/C

Added (1). Also I just need heat for my car for the winter.

Sell it and buy a trans am.

Just pull the electrical plug off the A/C compressor to prevent it from burning out.

Some systems have an electrical pressure switch to prevent the compressor from engaging if the A/C refrigerant pressure drops but I don't trust them.

.
You can drive car without that component, make sure if you removed, that pipes connected are sealed, but you can no longer use air conditioner or advanced defrost system, you can use cold and hot air only, but not that air cooling system, we assume you remove cause of damage, that means Freon gas leaked out, and there's no gas left to condense, thus you do not want to use air compressor system, as there's no gas and could sieze with moisture from air,
.

It will be fine.

The defrost system won't be able to engage the compressor. There's a low pressure switch that will have it shut down. You will not need to do anything different than you normally would do.

Couldn't you just make the drive now, and repair it later? As long as you don't use the AC, there won't be a problem.

If the AC condenser is damaged all the 134a refrigerant has been lost and the AC compressor will not work. You can just drive the way it is. When parts of the AC system are removed or disconnected the humidity in the air gets into the system and can run the receiver/dryer unit.
Your defrosters will still work once the motor comes up to operating temperature.

Yes it can be driven
