Can I find missing screws for my door panel in home department stores like Home Depot?

I have a 1997 Honda Civic Ex Coupe. I'm missing screws to attach basically everything. Do they have certain screws or can I just find them in any home department store?

Yes they carry a variety of screws that you can replace for your car, but you need to know exactly the type of screws you need, like size, thread pitch etc. Different areas of the car uses different type of screws.
You'll find it much easier to go to an auto parts store that carries automotive screws like Autozone.

I recommend going to a do it yourself or you pull auto wreckers find a car like yours and remove the screws that you need. You might want to get some extra screws and any other parts you need while you're there.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the one I own one of those cars and have done all kinds of repairs to them.Recently I changed all the engine and transmission mounts and you can purchase all 5 mounts cheap on ebay I payed about 70 bucks for mine. I usually try to get all the screws, fuses, bulbs and relays etc I can and I keep them in plastic containers in my trunk just in case. You can purchase spare bulbs etc from Ebay from different sellers for quite cheap especially the China sellers.

Some door panels are held in place by a push fit plug and not a threaded screw. You can get packs of 10 from the dealer for next to nothing. They are made of black plastic. Have a look on the Internet. No point trying places like home depot
