First car - golf gti mk5, civic/integra type r?
I'm finally getting around to driving, should be set to pass in a month or so. I'm 22 so not a boy Racer or anything but like my power at the same time.
As stated I've been looking at vw golf gti mk5, honda civic or honda integra type r.
My budget is absolute max 5k, but I would prefer to spend between 2-3.5k (need to consider my tax will be ridiculous:/)
I'm completely open to other suggestions if anyone could help.
I don't know
UK answer.
As a first car all will have massive insurance probably over the 5k budget a year
Look at something in groups 1 to 5 not in group 30 plus.
Your age helps a tiny bit but these are all boy racer cars.
I'll take a an older civic or integra any day. VW parts have a reputation of failing prematurely.
The Honda civic is clearly the best car for you. The Honda civic gets excellent gas millage (around 30 mpg) , reasonable maintenance cost, very good resale value and don't forget durability (have seen Honda civic with more than 200 k still running fine)
- Honda integra type R 2001? Any info? Looking at a first car, i'm an enthusiast and this car looks amazing for a p plate legal car. Anyone with experience with it?
- Everything i need to know about Honda integra type r DC5's? I was planning on getting one, i'm inlove with them, i know quite a fair bit about them considering i'm a girl. But i'm interested in knowing more about them and other people's opinions, thanks
- Volkswagen Jetta TDI vs Volkswagen GTI vs Honda Civic SI vs WRX? Which of these cars is most reliable and will get me through commuting to school everyday? Also which is better on maintenance? I'm leaning towards the Subie because I know the maintenance is fairly less complicated as opposed to the Volkswagen cars. And I like the Honda Civic SI, but it's a CIVIC…
- Volkswagen GTI vs Supercharged Scion TC vs Acura RSX type S vs Honda Civic Si? As far as being a good car for a college student to commute back and forth to school? Good looking, somewhat quick(er) and reliable!
