Cylinder 2 misfire 2014 Honda Civic 1.8L. Which cylinder is cylinder 2?
Is it the second from the right or second from the left?
Just keep pulling out the plugs until nothing changes, replacing the ones you pull as you move on to the next. When you get to one that doesn't change the way the engine runs as you pull it, you've found the cylinder
Left and right are confusing under the hood - left from the driver's seat (which is how tires and doors and seats are identified, for example) or left as you look at it from the front of the car? It is second from the end of the engine that is not attached to the transmission.
It's the second cylinder in from the drive belt side of the motor.
Put a set of NGK or Denso Iridium spark plugs in the motor.
All motors made by Honda need their valves adjusted every 60,000 miles. Tight valves will cause a poor idle, lack of power and the loss of gas mileage.

It's the one between cylinder #1 and cylinder #3.
No.1 is the cylinder closest to the cam belt end of the engine.
If you're standing at the front of the car with the hood up looking down into the engine bay in dismay, No.1 cylinder is at the right.
Sometimes the spark plug leads are numbered accordingly, but not always.
But when dealing with a misfire you should be checking all the other plugs, wires and injectors too
Not sure but your owners manual has a chart diagram showing the firing order.

- What is better a 2014 Honda Civic or 2014 Toyota Corolla? I'm looking at these cars in terms of price and more "bang for your buck." Both seem interesting to me and I have yet to test drive them. The Honda Civic seems like it is the better car based on reviews but the newly redesigned Toyota Corolla looks better than previous versions and is slightly cheaper than the Civic.
