Honda civic display not working after fitting an after market radio. How to fix?
Hi, I have just fitted an aftermarket radio on my 2006 Honda civic and it doesn't allow you to connect the lead from the top display (one which shows radio station, Aircon) to the new radio so there's no power getting to it. Does anyone know if I can get a splitter or something to power the radio and the display?
The display was a function of your old radio unit. It won't work with the new aftermarket radio you installed.
Go to the Honda service department or a professional stereo installer. When they see what aftermarket stereo you have they can tell you if it will work in your car or not, the way you want it to.
Yep… You destroyed your car because you were stupid enough to try doing yourself what you have no experience doing.
