How much would I pay for an engine for a 2003 Honda Civic EX automatic from a junk yard(approximately)?
I got taken for a fool in an as-is sale of a car that looked to be in great condition. Turns out the engine was shot. I signed an as-is contract and now I'm looking for the cheapest way to replace the engine which I'm thinking is probably a junk yard. I'm in the Lansing, MI area. What could I expect to pay for an engine from a junk yard?
I would say around $450. Depending on the mileage. I use to work for a junk yard and the good ones sold for $375-$475
