How much would it cost to get a manual car window fixed?
I drive a 2000 Honda Civic.
Inside of the car are manual window that I, myself have to roll up/down. This winter I tired rolling then up, and but as I was rolling it up, it broke. It's still broken, and I don't know what to do. The window won't go up. How much would it cost to get this repaired?
It will cost as much as a local shop will charge you and that would depend on what part is broken, which no one will know until they remove the panel. If you had any mechanical aptitude at all, you could do it yourself.
Drop by an auto glass place. They are inside doors all the time they won't be very expensive.
The price of the window regulator should be under $150 and 2 hours of labor.
- I have searched EVERYWHERE that I can think of with no luck 1990 Honda CRX base or hf model manual window reg? I'm not sure if I can fix the one I have. I bought the car new and it is the original regulator. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
