Is a passenger seat belt compatible with the driver side on an 02 civic?
I have an 02 honda civic coupe and I need a new seat belt for the driver side and I was wondering if I could remove the passenger seat belt and put it in the driver side
No they are handed so can't be transferred over.
Your local auto salvage yard is an excellent source for a used seat belt at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
If the seatbelt is defective, check with a Honda dealer. The seatbelt might have a lifetime warranty and you can get it fixed for free.
- Why is my 2015 Honda Civic moving side to side when I drive? When I drive 50+, I feel my car shifting side to side just a little bit. Is it because the lug nuts are not tightly screwed on?
- What does: Passenger-Side Walk-In Feature: with Memory mean in a 2006 Honda Civic? I was reading the features that the car I have has, but i've never been able to figure out what this means: Passenger-Side Walk-In Feature: with Memory? Anyone knows? I'm just curious!
- Seat belt in car loose? I have noticed recently that the seat belt in my 2006 Honda Civic is looser than before. I'm assuming it's like that because of normal wear and tear. I was wondering if there's anyway that can be reversed or possibly fixed.
- Passenger side window won't go up after radio stolen? Recently my car was stolen about a week later we found the car and the only thing really missing was the radio which had been stolen. The window of the passenger side was also all the way down. Now, it won't go back up. Any ideas what could happened or how to fix it? I'm thinking it had something to do with the stolen radio and maybe a cable or something getting disconnected? The car is a 1996 Honda Civic with power windows. Checked the fuses and they are good.
