Check for fuel and spark.
Check if the car has fuel. Does it crank? Yes, check for spark and check fuel pressure and check if the timing belt is broken if the engine sounds like a blender when cranking. No spark, check for a bad igniter and ignition coil or main relay. No fuel pressure, check for a bad fuel pump.
Does not crank, turn the crankshaft pulley with a breaker bar and socket. The engine might be seized.

I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect. I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
- Have a 2003 Honda Rebel, won't start (no power) after it rained, I charged the battery, still nothing? Cold end is a little corroded but nothing serious, has been starting up before the rain. Suggestions? And it should be dry.
