My Car is having a weird sound occurring?
Recently i been having a weird cranking dry sound occur, when i either turn right/left on the right front tire side, i was thinking it can be the axle since it is a front wheel drive car, i own a Honda Civic LX 1993 am transmission.
Previous owners have tried to solve the problem, as you can see no luck. Any suggestions or assumptions that can be the problem solution or the component making this happen,
can it be suspension or the chassis defect from the manufacturer?
If the noise is while you're driving, think wheel bearing! To check axles turn hard right or left while backing up… You'll hear a clicking noise…
NO its not a mfg defect! Its 20+ years old!
My gut would say you joint or bearing. Owned lots of Honda/acuras.

- Weird whistling noise coming from my ATV engine? So i have a honda 250ex, and today whenever i would give it gas, i would here a strange whistling noise coming from the cylinder block in the engine. When in neutral the sound was not heard. I never heard this sound before and it made me a little nervous. Just wondering if there's a problem with it or if i need to replace something.
- Have you seen any road-accident occurring before your very eyes? Lately, in our area, a speeding Honda-City car hit a bike-driver; The bike-driver was sent flying to a height and then fell hard on the coal-tar road, and died after a few hours in hospital;
- Is it weird to wear cloth brands like versace, gucci etc and drive a car around 70k-150k range? I know wearing those brand and driving like a honda, toyota etc would look weird, but is cars like mercedes, bmw ok? Or does it have to be something higher like maserati, ferrari, lambo, aston etc?
- My car makes a weird noise when I hit a bump, what is it? Every time I hit a bump or a dip or something that isn't flat my cars makes a noise around the right front tire. It kind of sounds as if someone is kicking a can. My best guess is that its the strut, but I don't want to risk a big fix like that if that's not it. What do you guys think? Or suggest. 1998 Honda Civic LX
