Should I keep or sell my car in this situation?
So I bought a used car about six months ago for $2500 and have been using it. However I just found out that I got a job and will be living in Japan for year. I live in Wisconsin now, but I will come back to Wisconsin in a year. I'm wondering if I should sell my car or store it somewhere. However I don't know anyone to store it for me and would have to pay someplace to store it if I wanted. It is a 2002 Honda Civic.
Sell it. When you return, use the money you made to buy another used Civic.
Get a storage unit.
Sell it
I would sell it. Its going to cost you around 125.00 p/month for storage.
Ya in your case storing it would cost more than it is worth. Sell put the money aside for a down when you return home.
You'll spend more than the car is worth on storage fees. There's nothing special about a 16 year old Civic. Sell it, you'll need the money.
- I sell cars for 1800$ or less but the taxes are almost here could I sell this car for 3000$? It's a 2004 Suzuki Verona 159,000 miles Automatic It's in exelent condition no problems But do you think I'll get 3000$ for it? Most people usually want a honda or Toyota
- I have a 2006 Honda Metropolitan, WHen cold it starts up but i have to keep revving it to keep it going? I have already replaced the battery, air filter, spark plug, did an oil change, got new gas, cleaned out the carb. Once it is warm i have no issues with it. It usually takes about 3 to 4 min of driving it to get it warm but once warm everything is fine with stopping and going.
- Which car should i buy to sell in a year? I'm in need of a car for only a year, but i'm a colllege student so I won't put on too many miles. I plan on buying a vehicle in the next few days and then selling it next may. My budget is 4000 and these are my top 4 choices i have found so far. Which one is the best for resale value and reliability? 1. 2006 Nissan Altima with 118k at 4000$ 2. 2003 Hyundai Tiburon with 80k at 3000$ 3. 2004 Honda Civic EX with 110k at $4000 4. 2005 Chevy Cobalt with 62k at $4000
- What would be the cost of car insurance in my situation? I'm 18 turning 19 in a few months, I recently got my G2 and I'm considering on buying a 05 honda civic.
