Ways to fix broken speed odometer?
2003 Honda Civic Si: thru research I found out it originally came with 15 inch rims, however I bought it with 16's on it. Also it has an 04 RSX tranny 6 speed. AND THE SPEEDOMETER DOES NOT WORK! I'm getting juice to the adapter for the speed sensor, and bought a brand new sensor thinking that was the case. But nope. Still no speedometer?! Any ideas on other ways to trouble shoot the issue?! Suggestions welcomed!
Get a diagram of the electrical system, which shows the speed sensor, the speedometer and the wiring. There's a fuse and electronic module involved. With the diagram and a voltmeter, you can trace the circuit.

- Is there a way to find out the percentage of how off my motorcycles odometer will be with non-stock gearing? The front and rear sprockets on my Honda CBR600 have 15 teeth in front and 45 teeth in the back. Stock gearing for my bike is 16 teeth front and 43 teeth back. I was wondering is there a formula or anyway I can figure out roughly the percentage my speedometer and odometer is off by?
- Honda owners: is there a difference in top speed between 4 speed and 5 speed element? My car is an 03 auto awd ex. I'm just curious, what top speed before drag effect comes into Affect? Can it achieve over 100 mph? I've heard that it can do 1-10 but I'm not sure whether that's for the 5 speed or the automatic bc the extra gear makes a difference in my opinion.
- Freeway driving more difficult to drive speed limit than to speed? Driving on freeway slower its more difficult than driving faster is it because the car is lighter or higher rpms give you more control or what i drive a fwd stock Honda thanks it's a lot easier to drive at 80 than 60
- Is it possible to convert a 1998 odometer to digital? In the honda civic ex 1998 i only want to change the mileage meter to digital? Can it be done using an SI cluster? Please add links and videos if possible thanks.
