What are the first performance parts one should get for a car?
I'm getting a Honda Civic EX coupe and I want to know what are some of the first performance parts I should go out and get to add a little bit to it's horse power and maybe give it a little better of a top speed. Can anyone help me out?
You can make it obnoxiously loud, that's about it,
Greater hp requires actual serious engine modification. Look at the engine differences between your car and the Si model that you actually want? It's a much more advanced engine in the Si, and bolt on upgrades aren't going to change that. Upgrading it enough to match an Si is going to cost more than just trading it for a genuine Si.
Look after your little Civic, they are a good reliable car, and it should serve you well. Take the cash you were planning to waste on it, and put that in a "new car" bank account. In time you will enough to buy a better car, and your Civic will still be worth something to sell, because you haven't "riced" it.

- What car should I get as a first car? Ok so I was thinking Subaru Impreza wrk, golf gti, golf, golf mk2 or 3. Any other duggestions and also should I get auto or manual as a first car. One thing I know I won't enjoy tho which is a Honda or Toyota as a first car, mostly personal preference. Also I'm getting used and must be able to be under 6 thousand thank you
- Motorcycle OEM performance parts? I don't own a motorcycle yet but plan to in the next few months. While doing research I had a hard time looking for OEM performance parts for them. Like Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc. I was able to find performance parts (exhaust, chasis, brakes) on the ducati website, but can't find any on other websites.
