How often to fill up car window washing fluid?
I bought a 2013 Honda CRV in November. All of the fluids were full. I use my wiper fluid maybe once or twice a month. It's now empty. Is this normal?
You fill it up when it gets low.
How fast it runs out depends how much you use it, and that depends where you live. Where i live it rains a LOT, so I seldom need the washer, because it's raining. So I might get 6+ months on a refill. If you use yours every day, you could use it in a month.
Buy a bottle of concentrate, then fill up 90% with water and top up with the fluid concentrate. Costs about a dollar to refill if you do that.
Every month to 25 years
Yes perfectly normal
So what's your guess, you have used it approximately 10 times since owning the vehicle? If so, that's about average, depending on just how much fluid you are using each time.
The stuff is like three bucks a gallon at most, so it can't be breaking you to keep some on hand.
That would depend on how big the bottle is? Have you looked?
- How many years will a new car last before it breaks down often? If you buy a brand new car and keep up with maintenance, how many years can you expect to get before it begins breaking down often, requiring frequent and/or expensive repairs? 5, 10, 15, 20? I know this can vary depending on the model, but let's assume a Honda or equivalent Japanese car.
- Honda Jazz won't take water in the water fill cap? I recently purchased a Honda jazz 2005 mode from a garage, top condition. I'm going on a long journey tomorrow and routinely like I would with any car I checked the water and oil levels. (cold engine). Water level was halfway between min and max so I attempted to top it up with coolant mix, however, as in poured the h20/coolant mixture into the water tank it just came straight back up as though the tank was full, although I can see it's only half full. Any ideas?
- How often should a car's AC compressor need to be replaced? We have a 2007 Honda CRV with 120,000 miles on it. The AC compressor system just failed. I feel like that's too soon for a 7 year old car. I've had cars for 10-15 years and never had that happen. How often should that happen?
- 2001 honda civic lx master power window switch problem with one of the window buttons? The power button on the drivers side to lower the front passengers window will not work. But the power window switch for the front passenger if you sit on the passenger side will work and lower window. Could this be the master switch problem or a wiring problem. All of the other buttons on the master switch work to lower windows on the rear left and right windows and front drivers window. Of the 4 buttons on the master switch 4 work and 1 does not.
