The Hyundai. 7 year guarantee (in the UK)
Korean cars, Hyundai and Kia, have made huge strides in quality/reliability/longevity over the last 20 years or so. But they haven't caught up with Honda. Honda is not THE most reliable car company, that's Toyota, but they're up there in the top 3 or 4.
I have nothing against the Santa Fe. I see a lot of them around, so they must be pretty successful. But I'd go for the CR-V. Unless the difference in cost was a big factor.
Honda makes a better car. PERIOD. If you need reasons, do your own research.
Honda, they say they use a lot of plastic when they make Hyundais.
Back in the day I'd say Honda, but few Hondas are made in Japan any more. Many are Thai built. Thai vs Korean…
The Hyundai (in Aus at least) has a better warranty (7 years compared to Honda's 3) and seems more interesting than the current CRV. But which is "better" is up to you. Drive both and decide. In terms of reliability, my Series-1 CRV was bullet proof, whereas older Hyundais had a use-by date, but that gap has narrowed and I doubt there's much in it these days.

- Nissan vs Hyundai vs Toyota vs Honda vs Scion. Which one is more reliable and a better purchase? Nissan vs. Hyundai vs. Toyota vs. Honda vs. Scion… Which one is more reliable and a better purchase?
- I'd like to buy a used Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V or Hyundai Tucson, Am I better off wit 4wd/Awd or 2wd/Fwd? I live in the suburbs of Chicago and want a small SUV because it sits up high. But the question is am I better off getting an AWD/4WD or a FWD/2WD model? I'm tempted on getting a FWD model to save on gas, insurance and slap on some snow tires in the winter. But I've heard that AWD models hold their value better though.
- I asked Santa for a brand new 2018 Honda CR-V but instead got this? A used 2017 Honda CR-V with 20,000 miles. Plus it's white color which I HATE. How can I get my parents err Santa to give me what I really want?
