As you drive it, the engine is PULLING outside air THRU the canister AND burning the gas fumes in the engine. Drive it…
You can try that… Joyride about 20-30 miles and see if the light goes out. Hondas are very sensitive with their emissions controls. If it doesn't fix itself, you may need the canister repaired.
Do not assume. Check the codes.
Once the charcoal canister gets flooded from topping up your gas tank it needs replacing and the lines to the purge valve need cleaning.
