Honda Fit Gas Mileage problem?
I hope some guys on here can help. I bought a 2013 Honda fit automatic which only had 11k miles on it. The car guzzles gas like there's no tomorrow. Tried fuel injection treatment, tire pressures good. No gas tank leaks. What could be going on?
Seriously? You provide no actual information about the alleged issue. What mileage did you expect? Have you accurately measured the miles per gallon you're actually getting? Do you even know how? Have you pulled any codes? It the CEL on? Etc., etc…
It "guzzles gas" is a completely useless statement. Pull your head out of where it is and edit/repost with some actual data and perhaps someone can help you.
- Poor gas mileage on my 97 honda prelude? For some reason i've been getting pretty bad gas mileage on my 5th gen 1997 prelude. I bought the car about 3 months ago and i've noticed i waste way too much gas i really don't know what it could be i've been told to check the o2 sensor but i don't know how to do that or what to even check for, any help will really be appreciated
- How do i get the best mileage for my 2013 honda fit? I see most consumer report review on it and they get around 30-31 mpg and i get 24.4? Would it be just needing to replace some car parts on the interior such as the air filter? I have just gotten my tire replaced and upsize so i hope it will make a little difference
- Which mini SUV is better for gas mileage and longevity? I have been looking at mini SUV's/crossovers and have narrowed down my choices to these 3: Nissan Rogue, Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester. Keep in mind that I'm not buying a brand new one from the year 2014 or 2013. I'm looking at the years 2010 - 2012. So which is the overall better choice?
- Why does my car get unusually good gas mileage than normal? It's a 98 Honda Civic. I do 2 hours of Combined city and highway driving for 5-6 days a week. I kinda have a heavy foot, the rims are 1" bigger than stock and the car is due for it's next tune up this coming Monday. The car is rated at 28mpg combined when it was shiny back in 1998, and when I calculated mine i got 32 mpg combined, my calculation isn't wrong either as i have an mpg calculator
