Scion tC reliability vs competition?

I'm a recent college grad, and I'm currently driving a 98 Honda Accord. I'm looking to upgrade to a newer, more reliable vehicle. It pains me to say I have not taken great care of my current car, yet it has lasted me 6 years and 60k miles (currently at 250k). I have made minimal repairs, but I'm looking to sell it and upgrade to something newer and more reliable, while my Accord is still worth more than just parts. I've been shopping around, looking at Scion tC, Mazda 6, Pontiac G5 & 6, or a newer accord. The tC is my forerunner, having read that they are very reliable (being Toyota made), practical (price, size, MPG, reliability, yet "sporty"), and I like the look/customization availability. Just want to hear some opinions from the horse s mouth on the matter. I d most likely be looking at a 05, 06, or 07. I want to know how reliable I can expect one to be, if a slender 6 4" guy such as myself would fit comfortably, and how they compare to the aforementioned vehicles I'm considering.

I really think you are best off sitting in the cars you have chosen to see if it comfortably accommodates your frame. Of the one's listed Scion and Mazda are going to have better reliability and the one mentioned, the Honda Accord should stay in your consideration because it too, a newer one of course, can be what you are looking for. I would read reviews on Edmunds.com I do believe the Scion has the most after market parts, so it would be the leader for that reason. Toyota is legendary for reliability, so you can check that box. Probably best to drive the vehicles you are interested in until the seat of your pants puts a smile on your face, then thats the one.
