Will 99-2000 Civic tailights fit a 96-98?
Hi, I'm 16 and have a 96 Honda civic coupe 2 door. I like the look of the 99-2000 civic tail lights, which has the clear white bottom half as where the 96-98 has an amber bottom half. I was wondering if I could buy 99-2000 tail lights and fit them onto my 96 civic. Please help, will it fit? Because I know the 99-2000 front end are different from the 96-98 front end, so it makes me uneasy about the tail lights.
Yes. I did the exact thing to my 1998 HX. The headlight/turn signal assembly is also physically the same - the '99-'00 simply has an amber bulb in a clear housing instead of a clear bulb in an amber lens.
Yes, 1996-2000 have the same body style, when you search your tail lights, they will fit models from that year range.
The 99 should fit since is the last generation and the 2000 no because that's part of the 7th gen so it's totally different but the 99 should have the same style/size
