Will a j series swap fit in a 95 honda civic ex?

I wanna know if a j series swap will fit in my 95 honda civic ex that has a D16y7 vtec and what would i need for it. Any other info will be helpful. I been lookin online and can't find nuthin about it

No. Not without tons of modifications(including chassis mods). An H22 is smaller than a J series and it is tight. You can't even run A/C with an H22 on that car plus the car is front heavy. The J would be a nightmare on handling… Definitely not worth it. Whcih is why you don't see anything on it. For a straight forward swap, no. The J won't fit. Anything can be done with a lot of money, but then the car won't even really be a Civic anymore.

Yes, a j series motor will fit in in that car. I have seen 1 in person and read about it in Honda Tuning magazine. The j32 type s motor is suggested. You can also you another j32 and try to get the type s heads & cam later. Prices on the motors aren't bad, but the prices on the type s manual tranny can be expensive. Of course a lot of custom parts are needed. Another issue is hood clearance. The 1 saw in person didn't even have a hood.
