Will these 17 inch tires fit my car?
Ok I have a 95' honda civic and when I bought the car the tires the previous owner put on were 205 40 17. If I were to purchase 215 45 17 from someone selling them cheap would they fit my car.
The 215-45-R17 are much larger tires, so you check your wheel wells for how much clearance you still have, but I think your pushing your luck on going even larger.
Your '95 Civic can indeed accommodate a 17 inch tire and rim package. However, the proper size tire would be 205/40-17 as the previous owner had installed. A 215/45-17 tire would be both too wide and too tall.
- Would 18x8 rims with p225/45/r18 tires fit on my stock 2008 Honda Civic? Found a great deal on some rims with tires and needed to know if they would fit for sure. They were previously on an 04 bmw 325i
- Will these tires fit on my 96 Honda Accord? The tires I have on now are 205 60 r15 and it's been really difficult finding tires in that size. My boyfriend has 185 60 r14 tires that he could give me. We've been getting mixed answers as to whether they would fit my car or not…
