I can't find Restrictor Plate On My Honda Metropolitian?
I don't know what year it is, but I read to remove the carburetor from the piston I don't really know any of these parts. Can any one help me?
You'll have to pull the carb, but you may not have to unhook anything (maybe). There should be 2 (maybe 4) nuts at the base of the carb where it hooks to the engine holding it on and the plate will be sandwiched between the two.
If the carb is held onto a tube by hose clamps on both sides then the plate is probably between the engine and the carb (just mounted different)
- Motorcycle running lean after removing 25kW restrictor? I recently bought a 2008 Honda Hornet (FI) and it came with 25kW. I removed the restrictor because the bike was really slow but now it's running lean - the acceleration is really sluggish, sometimes it stutters and it turns off most of the times I pull the clutch. Any idea what it might be? The spark plugs were already changed and the air filter is clean, it only started doing this after removing the restrictor.
- Honda c50 semi auto multi plate clutch? I have a Honda c50 bike with a wet type semi automatic multi plate clutch. The thing i can't understand is how the engine keeps running while on gear, in a stop, without touching the gear lever which being pressed a little releases pressure from the plates.i'd like some answers concerning the operations of such clutches.
- I need to find a part for my Honda ex1000 generator. I can't seem to find a part for a reasonable price or even the right part I have a Honda Generator and I need to buy a carburetor. I can find a lot of different ones online but I only find One for the Model I have. It is 80 bucks. I see a lot that look the same and I would like to know how to find one that is cheaper. I have looked for hours and can't find one that is cheap like the others. The part number is 16100-ZC0-015. Does anyone know how I can find a variety to choose from or do I need to get the honda brand carb?
- Honda cr-v on a 52 plate (towing electrics )? I own a honda cr-v on a 52 plate. Can anyone tell me does it have a hidden socket for a dedicated towing electrics loom and where is it hidden and where can I buy one from? Or can anyone tell me the order to wire a universal socket I. E what colour from socket goes to what colour on the car (right hand drive )
