How long will a car with 56k miles last me?
My 2012 Honda has 56k miles and I've had it since it was at 19k. If I keep up with the maintenance and drive anywhere from 12-15k a year how long could it last?
15-17 years
With proper maintenance you can expect 200,000 - 300,000 miles
As long as it does for cripes sakes.
10 years
In theory it could last forever if worn out parts are replaced as necessary. At some point though the car will need so much money spending on it that it will be more than it is worth.
This point could come tomorrow, in a years time, 10 years time or whatever. The only certainties in life are death and taxes and car longevity is one of the great unknowns that you have to live with.
Many Honda make 200,000 miles or more if properly maintained.
As long as you keep up with the maintenance, it could last well over 200k miles
Nobody can tell you that. If you get your valves adjusted every 60,000 miles I'll wager it will last longer than if you don't do the work!
60 years
- How long will my Honda shadow 600 last? I just bought a 1995 Honda Shadow VLX 600. It has 24 thousand miles on it, got it for 1500$. It has no problems, no leaks, clean, no rust, been garage kept, regular oil changes, runs like a spanked monkey. Now i'm wondering if it will make 5000 more miles, or 30,000 more. What do bikes regularly make it to?
- How long do you think a Honda Elite 50cc scooter last? I found a 1998 honda elite on craigslit in pretty good condition. Its pretty old but seems like it runs well. I'm not sure how many miles are on it but how many do you think it runs? How many miles should it be able to run*
- How long will a 05 Cobalt last me? I found an 05 Cobalt with 137K miles on it. Does anyone know how long these cars last, some of the Honda's I know of can last past 200K. Will the Cobalt be as reliable?
- Do fords last a long time? Ok so I've been doing some research on cars lately, and I found out through consumer reports and true delta that ford is just about as good as honda and toyota. My goodness even the little ford focus scored very well in this consumer reports magazine. A couple of fords models still need work but other than that it says they're good. Is it true? Has anyone ever had a ford?
