Best Motorcycle for a Beginner? - 2
I'm looking to get a nice, street-legal bike. Should I get the Honda CTX700? It's pretty nice.
Greater Los Angeles Craig's List show *no* used CTX700's. New list about $7.5K, about $9K out the door. Has about 50 bhp and can do 90-95 mph, enough to get a speeding ticket on any public road.
If you don't mind wasting your money, the CTX is acceptable. Definitely *not* the best.
- Which motorcycle should I get for a beginner? I'm planning on buying a motorcycle because I'm turning 16 soon and I need a vehicle to commute to and from school. Which bike is reliable for a starter? Honda CBR 125CC, Yamaha R125, Ninja Kawasaki 250R or other bikes? I'm also in a budget and looking for a bike around $2,000 and will not go over $2500. I'm also 5'11 and 155 LBS.
