Do you like these beginner motorcycles I'm listing?
The Honda rebel 250 and the Yamaha V star 250. I like these bikes alot. Do you think people will laugh at me when they see me riding one?
No. My dad had a Honda as his first bike and loved it.
The Rebel is a pretty standard first bike. I have been riding over 40 years had lots of fancy bikes and I don't laugh at people that ride rebels.
Why are you concerned about a bunch of people that are WALKING?
I have been riding for 50 years, I now ride a Vespa LX150. No rider has ever said anything against any bike I have ever had. The only person said against was re: my 650cc Savage being not a Harley -- with the person being in a cage and thus is a total idiot.
Check Suzuki's GZ250, the third of the three Japanese 250 cruisers.
I sure like my Rebel. Light & nimble for a beginner, or in the city. Yet you can put it on the highway and do 60+ mph. And not a bad looking bike.
Bought mine off eBay used for a nice discount to new.
Go for honda rebel
I had a similar bike, a Suzi GN250. I did feel a bit daft riding it as it was so little and obviously it was dead slow. I then bought an ER5, which was 100 times faster/better and even did the same MPG.
- What would you do if a lady around 30-37 told you that you were useless and would never amount to anything? She's a well dressed white lady with a brand new Honda SUV and she has a daughter that looks about 12 that is also well dressed and the girl is being rude and both are being very rude to the guy at the counter at Subway. Would it be wrong to curse out the old witch who tried to start a fight and cursed out the subway worker and you?
- What would you recommend as a beginner bike on my list? 200 cc dual sport (I will sometimes go on the dirt with it), a ninja 250, a ninja 300, a Honda cbr 300, or a cbr 500?
- Types of motorcycles like Suzuki Marauder / Honda Shadow / Sportster? I'm pretty much only familiar with sport bikes. I like the Marauder and Shadow and Sportster styles of bikes. Any other suggestions similar to them?
- Motorcycles - what happens if you shift it wrong? - 1 What will happen in a manual motorcycle if example, I shift gears without using the clutch lever? Will the transmission break? In a semi-auto motorcycle, will something bad happen if example, I just started the motorcycle then shifted it to 4th gear without even reaching 10kph? Also, what's the best motorcycle to start with, is Honda Wave 100 or Honda Wave 125 good?
