Honda cbr for my first motorcycle?
I'm looking to buy a 2008 Honda cbr 125. It has 15k miles, in excellent condition. He's charging $1500, is this a good deal?
The price is well below retail ($2,500) for this bike if it is in great condition, so I would say this is a good deal.
Seems a lot for an 6yo bike, but it's a good machine so if in perfect condition I would go for it. Make sure it's been kept in the dry, not outside in all weathers.
- Which motorcycle this is? (ex. Honda, kawasaki, yamaha, etc.) And series as well (ex. Cbr, ninja, etc.)? Thank you very much! The reason I'm asking is because it is not physically in my possession… Otherwise I obviously would have checked the bike itself.
- What's a good first motorcycle? I'm looking for my first cheap, reliable motorcycle to get me into the city each day and back. I don't know much about them but I don't want anything too powerful so a 250 of some sort and preferably a japanese made bike such as yamaha and honda etc. I really like the retro/classic style bikes but I don't want it too old. Please help me out as I don't know where to even begin looking really.
- What is the most appropriate motorcycle jacket for someone who rides honda rebel as his first bike? I personally like those nylon looking jackets like revit touring types I guess as oppose to sportier looking ones but really is there a good versatile one for my situation?
- Is the honda cbr 500 a good first bike and how expensive is the insurance and cost? Ok i'm 20 ans iv always wanted to ride a motorcycle ever since i was little and now i have a full time job and want to ride. I heard about the 250s but i know that id be tired of it after like 4 to 5 months while riding. I was thinking of the honda cbr500 i'm 5'9 155 pounds. Also how much would insurance cost and the paynents per month i may put 1000 down but i'm not sure i just want to have a decent amount of pay per month not too much
