Honda CBR600F4i 2001 what are these cables for and why are there out?
I went on Forums but Nothing truly helpful.
but the one forum said it's coolant flushing out or overload and also said if it's running fine and your okay.
They are not cables, they look like breather pipes.
Cables have metal wires. Them's tubing. Does your bike have black thingies or tires? Words matter.
Fuel tank overflow, battery overflow and coolant tank overflow. They are there so when those things leak, the liquids go on the ground rather than all over your nice bike.
There should be a way to tuck them in. Most bikes have a grommet (a ring) for them to run through to hold them in place.
That bike doesn't have a vent hose for the battery.
The battery is permanently sealed when produced.
One of the smaller hoses is the gas cap overflow.
The gas cap is recessed into the tank.
When gas is spilled, instead of sitting in the recess, the gas drains through that hose.
Open the gas cap.
Off to the side you will see a little pin hole.
That is the gas cap drain.

- Motorcycles: Is a Honda CBR600F4i as reliable as they're made out to be? I really like the '06 Honda CBR600F4i with the yellow paint scheme. I notice that even a lot older ones are still holding value. Does the fairing rattle and buzz like cheaper motorcycles?
