How to find lighting coil on dirt bike?
I bought a dirt bike off my friend but the headlight doesn't work and i don't like how it looks so I'm planning on buying a new headlight for it. Its a honda xl250 from 1983. It has a working speedometer and everything is attached but if i was to get a new headlight it says i would need a lighting coil and i can't find any information on it or if my bike has one where would i look? Also would a new light mess up where my speedometer is?

- What are the dangers of riding a dirt bike shirtless? I was ready to ride my dirtbike all geared up (pants, helmet, boots, etc.) besides a shirt. I have an 80cc honda and a pretty skilled driver. However my father came out and yelled for me to stop and made me put on a long sleeve shirt. Was this right to do? Should he have just let me ride or was he right?
- Running a VIN check on a dirt bike in Australia? So I was considering running a VIN check on my dirt bike, which is a 00' Honda Cr250 (un-registerable). I'm in Australia and I'm not sure where to go to get this check done as this bike would not have any registration history. Ideas? Help? Much appreciated as i'm just trying to find out my bikes past & possibly the first owner.
