Lost title for dirt bike?
I have a Honda dirt bike my grandmother helped me buy. We purchased it in 2004 and I was not 18 yet so it was most likely in her name although it was my job to help pay for it. She has since passed and the title information is not to be found. I have interest in selling the bike but I'm wondering how to do so. I'm wondering if I can sell it with a bill of sale and be OK or how I need to go about it?
If the bike is not street legal than it probably never had a title, only a bill of sale.
- Where can i buy a cheap dirt bike? Hi i'm 13 years old and i live in california. I'm saving up for a 125cc dirt bike (probably honda). I was wondering where i can find a good place to buy one that would be cheap. I've seen ones that are around 1000 dollars and i was wondering if there's anything good that would be cheaper or around that. If you can also please tell me if this would be a good bike for me i'm around 5,1. So if you can help me find a good dirt bike that would be great!
- What kind of dirt bike should i get? I'm not a beginner, but i never have owned a bike i been doing research every day for a year and i still do not know what bike should i get. I'm 14yr 5'7". I've been looking at a honda cr125 but i'm seeing bad and good reveiw the money i have for a new bike is $5000.
- What are the dangers of riding a dirt bike shirtless? I was ready to ride my dirtbike all geared up (pants, helmet, boots, etc.) besides a shirt. I have an 80cc honda and a pretty skilled driver. However my father came out and yelled for me to stop and made me put on a long sleeve shirt. Was this right to do? Should he have just let me ride or was he right?
- Running a VIN check on a dirt bike in Australia? So I was considering running a VIN check on my dirt bike, which is a 00' Honda Cr250 (un-registerable). I'm in Australia and I'm not sure where to go to get this check done as this bike would not have any registration history. Ideas? Help? Much appreciated as i'm just trying to find out my bikes past & possibly the first owner.
