Should I get a honda crf450r?
I'm 15 and go to the desert every weekend(ocotillo wells). I used to own a yz125 and now I have a 250 blaster. Now I'm looking for another dirtbike. I was wondering if the crf450r is too much for me or if I would be able to get used to it.
If you have good experience in yz125 than that's will be no problem to ride in HONDA CRF450R. Diving down on corner entry and over smaller bumps, the fork stays high in its stroke. While this sometimes cause harshness over smaller chop, the 2014 CRF450R feels good, and there's less movement on the front-end mid corner as well. So good luck.
If you can get used to frequent hospital emergency rooms, you can get used to the crf450r
- What bike should i get a 2004 honda cr125 or 07 yamaha yz125? I have a 2011 rmz250 and want another bike so i don't load up the 250 with hours. I have the chance to buy a mint 04 cr125 with a full pro circuit for 2200$. Or i can get the yz125 07 or 3000$. Its all modded out though. Front and rear RG3 suspension, motor built up by PR2, brand new tires, bars grips plastics and graphics, fresh rebuild, and a full FMF exhaust. The guy also has all stock parts that he switched out and receipts for all the work done. Both bikes have paperwork and are mint.
- Should I get an 87 Honda rebel for 1500 or a 15 Honda rebel for 4100? Both will have same insurance rate. I know the older one will have more problems to fix but is cheaper up front while the newer one cost more now but will have less problems in the future. Also in case you are wondering the 87 is a 450cc and the 15 is a 234cc.
- I have a 2002 Honda xr100r and I want to upgrade the suspension so I can hit bigger jumps. What should I get? I want more suspension than the dirt bike came with and I want to spend the least amount of money possible.
- Crf450r shifts without needing to pull the clutch in? I bough a 2007 honda crf450r and the guy said he had some cluth installed that did not require the use of the cluth lever being pulled in, in order to operate how do i change it back were it requires the clutch to be pulled in? And did i over pay i paid $2000?
