Where can I buy affordable cr125 engine?
I'm about to build a go kart but I really emphasize on the engine I'm about to pick. Reason being, it's the heart and soul of a go kart and the Honda CR125 engine can basically go on every surface (rock, dirt, mud and even race tracks). Nevertheless, I found some results but then engine only has the bottom end, or is still attached to the bike (which makes it really expensive!) and it's hard for me to find results since I live in Canada, Quebec. Where can I find affordable cr125 engine (or you can even give some other good engines that can withstand what the cr125 can achieve. Ebay and Kijiji are difficult sources for me because most of the buys are from other countries (especially USA). Where can I buy them (for about 500$ ish) or you may suggest some other engines I can put on my go kart (dirt bike engines) that is as affordable.
Go on to craigslist and look at the lawn mowers there. You might need a gear box for that or lift the motor up higher for the beat to twist
Dirt bike chassis outlive the engines. It's unlikely you will find a used CR125 engine that has not been blown up.
You can buy the parts to build one new from Honda but you'll pay substantially more than $500.00.
- What bike should i get a 2004 honda cr125 or 07 yamaha yz125? I have a 2011 rmz250 and want another bike so i don't load up the 250 with hours. I have the chance to buy a mint 04 cr125 with a full pro circuit for 2200$. Or i can get the yz125 07 or 3000$. Its all modded out though. Front and rear RG3 suspension, motor built up by PR2, brand new tires, bars grips plastics and graphics, fresh rebuild, and a full FMF exhaust. The guy also has all stock parts that he switched out and receipts for all the work done. Both bikes have paperwork and are mint.
- Honda 1986 cr125 leaking oil? I traded an old car for this dirt bike and I've been riding it for a few months now and it's been leaking oil from a hole that is underneath the gas thing. I need to find out if that hole is supposed to be there or not and how to fix this. Thank you.
