TOYOTA CELICA GT FOREVER?
I plan on having a 2001 toyota celica gt as my first car. I saw one that only has 128k kms. I plan on keeping this car for the rest of my life and take care of it really good. To the point where what the others did to their 1960 s camaro or mustang or 1950 s corvette up until now. Will the celica gt be up for it? Will it be easy to get new parts if I decide to modify it at some point? I heard mazda car parts are harder to find than honda car parts. I want to know how a toyota celica gt would do. Please let me know!
I had a 1975 Celica GT that I kept going until 1995; parts were never a problem. As long as you take care of problems as they arise, you should be able to run this car more or less indefinitely.
Nah, it'd be okay. Some people I know in my town, they let their teenage daughter drive their older Celica GT. Still in nice condition.
It's the body parts I'd worry about, such as if you get into an accident, or rust starts to take hold, depending where you live.
But you should have no trouble with keepng it in good condition.

Hi so you have a shed load of things to learn about cars still well the toyota will spoil you for anything else for sure. Yes the quality of this make is good however even old toyota die at some stage. Then modern car is a consumeable item the sooner you get to grips with this idea the better. So 128k kms is 80 k miles which means it is good till it reaches 100 k miles or 160 k kms.
- Honda CR-V, Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, or Toyota RAV-4? I will be purchasing a used car in the upcoming weeks. I have been saving up money from my summer job and currently have about $4000 to spend. Which vehicle do you think I should get?
- Toyota Prius or Honda fit? I'm looking to buy my first car and gas mileage is important to me, but so is reliability. I'm debating between a 2009 Honda Fit with 61k miles and a 2006 Prius with 69k miles or a 2007 Prius with 80k miles. I will probably be using this vehicle for the next 3 - 4 years.
- D16y8, d15 faster than my 92 Celica 2.2 5sfe? My brothers have Hondas and is faster than my 92 Celica 5sfe engine. They have a D15 and a D16y8. Why? Is this rite or is there something wrong with my 5sfe?
- Toyota SUV or Honda SUV? Highlander, rav4 and crv? I have narrowed it down to these 3 SUV Toyota highlander Toyota rav4 Honda crv I need a SUV that is good on gas ( 20 mpg of more preffered) very reliable as in will last forever of at least. A very long time with little problems and won't break down often. I know the highlander is bigger of the 3 and because of its size equals slightly less mpg. What does both toyota and honda have for reputations? Are they reliable and good vehicles? Opinions on these makes and models?
