Wat would be better for me a yamaha raptor 250 or a 350?

My name is luis and i'm just wondering wat would be better for me a yamaha raptor 250 or a 350 i have a Honda recon 2002 250 and its pretty cool but I want more speed and I'm asking this to you guys cuz I trust u. But the problem is that i'm 13 so witch one would be better fore me

And are they bouth good on sand like passing obstacles that are high that's my other question

My son and wife both rider 350 raptor. Your still growing, I'd rather have more power and never use than not enough power and want more. My son wants a 700. Now he's 16 and 6'1" so I'm trying to find a used 700 that's not beat down.

The 660 Raptor 2002, the guy says that the gears won't catch properly or that it doesn't stay in gear. Does this sound like a fair trade? How much money do you think I might have to put into the raptor to get it functioning properly, if I do it myself?
