What is Best honda motor?

I'm looking to buy a honda but i want one that has a good motor so i can fixit to race i currently found a 2006 honda hatch back with a k20 is that a good motor or is there faster motors

All Honda motors are good depending what Chassis they are in…
K20 and K24 are good motors… But in my opinion to expensive to swap in… But if you get a hatch with K20 already in no problem. Even though that chassis is pretty heavy…

If you got something RWD like the S2000 I would say hands down the F20b/F22b is Honda's best motor… The F20b also has won many awards for best motor…

I would suggest a h22 or B18c5 or B16a2 in an older 88-95 Honda… Weither it be a Crx, Civic, hatchback etc… Those chassis are just flat out lighter (2400 pounds and under with the Crx being the lightest 1700-2000 pounds) If you K-swapped a Crx that would be a beast and be pretty fast.

The h22 is also a great motor… Makes more torque/horsepower then the K20, and is half the price… But it still is an older engine. Also they have something called H2B. Thats a h22 with a B series transmission… That uses the h22's massive torque in a short geared b-series tranny…

My point is there's no flat our best motor… Just what's good for your application.

H22a

Go for it k20 is best for racing
