What type of truck should I get for my first?
I'm 16 and live in Southern California. In and my parents want to get me a truck. My family is GM loyal because of what they did in WW2 for this country. I'm looking for like a Silverado or sierra. But I'm concerned about the insurance. Any suggestions. (Absolutely no Toyota, Honda or any other foreign pieces of junk.) Thank you.
You get more truck for your money with a dodge.
Your PARENTS are RIGHT. The chevy Silverado is made by GMC and has a pretty good gas mileage if you don't stomp on it. We all so only buy USA made in our family. Your ins. Will be high no matter what you drive until you have a few more Birthdays and a good driving record.
Colorado/Canyon. If you buy used and pay cash, insurance will be a lot cheaper, as you don't need full coverage.
Insurance should not be higher for the pickup than for a similar value sedan.
- Should I save up for car or stick with truck? Okay my family has 3 trucks, they gave me one that's usally sitting around. Excellent condition. Toyota tacoma 2003 4x4 with sr5. Only thing I hate is the mpg. I have a part time job and in high school as a sophomore. Should I start to save up for a car (mazda, scion, honda) with much better mpg or just stick with the truck? It gets about 15 mpg. I was looking to get a a car around 5k.
- What type of suv should i get? I'm looking to get a compact suv v6. I been looking at 13 acura rdx but keep wondering is there anything as reliable as Honda or Toyota? Iv had honda for along time would like to try something different but don't want to regret it. Iv looked at the pilot didn't like it.
- Which Scooter should I get as my first ever motorbike? I will definitely buy the Honda Activa. No I'm confused between the 3 varients available in India. The Simple Activa, The Activa i & the Activa 125cc. My ride will be around 22kms daily through a mixture of bad & very bad roads. Also I'm a first time rider, means I will learn on this vehicle too. I'm proficient in bicycling. Please advice.
- What type of dirt bike should I get? I'm 5'11 and 150 lbs. I'm an intermediate rider who's looking for a bike that has dual sport capabilities, any suggestions? My uncle offered to sell me his 2003 Honda crf 230 that's in great condition for 1000 or less and I'd need to buy a conversion kit for it, good idea or no
