Most Honda power sports dealers would have genuine carburetors to fit your fourtrax in stock or know how to get one.
- I need to find a part for my Honda ex1000 generator. I can't seem to find a part for a reasonable price or even the right part I have a Honda Generator and I need to buy a carburetor. I can find a lot of different ones online but I only find One for the Model I have. It is 80 bucks. I see a lot that look the same and I would like to know how to find one that is cheaper. I have looked for hours and can't find one that is cheap like the others. The part number is 16100-ZC0-015. Does anyone know how I can find a variety to choose from or do I need to get the honda brand carb?
- Do I need to buy genuine Honda OEM air filters? I want to save money and replace them myself - is there a good generic or store brand, or am I better off buying genuine Honda parts online for a discount?
- Changing oil on a '87 Honda FourTrax 125? My grandfather has had this since it came out, runs like new no issues. One day i asked him the oil cap looks like it hasn't be touched in years he says "not once have i changed the oil" so my question is what would happen if we did change the oil? We're doing the good old "if it aint broke don't touch it" pic of the fourtrax is below (note our's doesn't have the cargo bin found this pic on google)
- Battery terminal came loose on 97 Honda fourtrax 300 and shorted out the electrical system What exactly needs to be fixed when this happens? Fixed the problem. The wire did short the system because it touched metal. I bypassed the solenoid and it started, so that was the problem.
