My 2001 honda accord makes a Really loud squeaking noise when driving, turning the wheel OR when the car is in park and i'm turning the wheel back and fourth.
Check your Power Steering fluid level
It's a loose belt. It either needs to be tightened or replaced. It's not a big deal.
Probably the rubber drive belt for the power steering is wearing out. Routine repair, especially on an older vehicle.
Get it fixed because when the belt breaks you will also loose drive to your water pump and alternator (as well as the power steering and air-con)
- We have a 2006 Honda CBR. When you drive it, there's a loud whirring noise coming the back underneath side. What could cause that noise? The noise is situated around a CV boot on the left underneath side where the differential connects to the middle.
- 4 stroke 50cc scooter makes loud buzzing noise at 55 KPH and won't go over 60KPH? I have a fairly new 4 stroke 50cc Honda scooter. I recently put in a new CDI hoping to increase performance. It helped a little bit, but when I go over 55 KPH I start to hear a high pitched buzzing sound and the bike won't go past 60. Even on a flat surface. I'm not sure what the problem is. Does my bike have some kind of limiter? Is it the pulley or muffler? Or is 60 kph the fastest my bike will go?
- Honda Civic making weird noise while turning after running over a curb? I have a 2010 honda civic and I ran over a curb the other night and it made a pretty bad sound but nothing was hanging and it drove just fine. But now, 3 days later, its making a weird noise when I turn. Wondering what it could be?
- Car makes noise when turning the wheel? 91 Honda civic makes a kind of squeaking noise that kinda sounds like a whistle? The noise sounds louder when I steer to the right. Now this car don't have a power steering it was removed something like that? Witch kinda does make the steering wheel difficult to steer… But just want to know what that noise is exactly maybe it just needs grease or wd40 but not sure on what part… I don't know it might be a whole bigger problem
