Car makes noise when turning the wheel?
91 Honda civic makes a kind of squeaking noise that kinda sounds like a whistle? The noise sounds louder when I steer to the right.
Now this car don't have a power steering it was removed something like that?
Witch kinda does make the steering wheel difficult to steer… But just want to know what that noise is exactly maybe it just needs grease or wd40 but not sure on what part… I don't know it might be a whole bigger problem
What is the trim for your Civic? Care to let the world know where the noise is coming from? Exterior? Interior? Left side? Right side? Or at the steering wheel itself? Some of the 91 Civic trims came with a driver side air bag back in the time. Don't know where you're at: Oversea or living in the States so I'm guessing about what the Civic is equip with.
From the clock spring to the steering bearing/ bushing to the steering u joint all of the way to the front suspension components so take your pick.

Your CV joints may be going bad, or a tire is rubbing on plastic
Don't take it lightly go to mechanic and give him check otherwise it may cause an accident.
- Hit a pothole, car makes scratching noise on bumps? I hit a pothole going about 50 mph on a highway entrance ramp. Car drives fine but on any sort of bump/dip in the road, the car makes a scratching/grinding noise from the left front tire (the tire that hit the pothole). It's an 05 Honda pilot, not lowered. - My car makes a weird noise when I hit a bump, what is it? Every time I hit a bump or a dip or something that isn't flat my cars makes a noise around the right front tire. It kind of sounds as if someone is kicking a can. My best guess is that its the strut, but I don't want to risk a big fix like that if that's not it. What do you guys think?
