How to get top dollar for my 1990 honda accord?

Besides craigslist. I want to know of a place in CT that picks up cars and pays cash. I have a 1990 honda accord 4 doors under 200,000 miles. I have the title the body is in excellent condition the front windshield has a small crack the tires are deflated but in good condition. The inside is all in tact the motor is just missing some pieces and won't start but besides that its a pretty good car… Some places have offered me $200 but I know that its worth more… Any suggestions?

Realistically, it would need to be sold for parts or scrap.

Answer: Sell it to a collector. In 2015 it will officially qualify as an antique automobile.

There are other people who have the same model car, who maybe need some of the parts from your car, so you can advertise somewhere that people advertise cars and car parts for sale. Yes Craigslist, Ebay, Hemmings magazine. Maybe you could find a Honda owners club in your area. They might want the car? The body being in good shape is most important. The engine can be taken out, repaired, swapped, etc, easily.

There's no easy-to-find anything. You are going to have put forth some effort, to maximize the value of the car. Maybe sell the wheels/tires as a set for $100. Then you can still get $200 for the weight at a recycler, so that's already $300, a 50% increase from your only offer.
