Rough idle on my Honda accord?

I just bought a very well maintained 1994 Honda accord, this is my first time owning a Honda it has the f22b2 engine in it and it popped up a code to be specific it's code 12 which is exhaust recirculating system I'm not to sure what to do to fix it I cleaned the egr valve out and still having the same issue I just did a complete tune up on it plugs wires cap and rotor people are telling me to clean the o2 sensors and check for vacuum leaks but everyone is sayin just buy a new egr valve I don't want to buy one if I don't need it does anyone know what I can do to fix this or has anyone had the same issue?

Code 12 means the EGR is not delivering as much exhaust flow as it should - that is an emissions issue (almost always carboned ports at fault) and will not cause the rough idle.

If by rough you mean the engine shakes at idle in drive, especially with A/C on, that is almost certainly a rear engine mount. In automatic tranmission Accords the rear mount is vacuum controlled hydraulically softened. There's a vacuum hose that goes from a control module on the firewall to the mount and the control delivers vacuum when the engine is idling in gear. The vacuum moves the lever you can see if you look from the right angle and softens the mount, reducing the vibration. You can try nudging the lever along and see how it changes things, but I never found anything that would restore operation when the mount gets old. A bargain price for the mount is about $150 and it does not look all that easy to replace, so I just lived with it.
