What are the top 3 or 5 BEST rated cars to have & drive?

I NEED & WANT my own car, but don't want to waste money on the wrong 1st car.
I know Toyota: corolla's & camry, Honda: civic's & accords; but what other cars come after them in the dependability, reliability, safe department?
I ONLY want a sedan, no other models & I can only drive automatic. No, manuals, cvt

Most cars made today are all potentially good cars.
It all depends on how the car is maintained. I have a 2001 Hyundai Elantra with over 170K miles on it that still is in excellent condition.
When you buy a car, ALWAYS have it checked by a licensed mechanic before handing over your hard earned money.

1) A CVT is an automatic 2) You basically can't buy a bad/unreliable car these days from any of the big brands. Even Kia is perfectly reliable and good transportation. If you aren't int he USA though I'm not sure about that. There are some weird off brands available in other countries

  • Why is it that some husbands let their wives drive luxury cars while they drive ordinary cars? I've been observing some of my neighbors (one of them is a stay at home mom) and the husbands drive ordinary cars like Honda Accord or Honda Pilot. But the wives tend to drive luxury cars like Acura TSX or Acura RDX (some form of luxury car). What is the reason for this? Why do wives get to drive luxury cars while the husband drives ordinary car? I should say some of them. Its not a problem though but was only curious. The neighbors are Asians actually.
