Got Honda Civic si rims and they don't fit?
I have a 07 Honda Civic hybrid and I just put 07 Honda Civic Si rims on it and just when I moved the car, it made a scratching sound from the front wheel, I read online and some say I need spacers, but can you let me know what king of spacers and size? Please try to send a link with the website that sells them.
I'm guessing this car was a very special car for Honda, you should ask your local auto wrecker to confirm fitment, the dealer could also do this for you, just ask
Hi so now you have just found out the reason why we sometimes say you can't simply fit new rims to some cars there's not enough space under the wheel arches. Some have to cut away at the existing wheel arches and add flared arches which then needs glass fibre filler and spray painting so what looked like a simple job is not.
The Si rims are too big for the Hybrid. Spacers won't work.
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- Would 18x8 rims with p225/45/r18 tires fit on my stock 2008 Honda Civic? Found a great deal on some rims with tires and needed to know if they would fit for sure. They were previously on an 04 bmw 325i
- Will 20 rims fit my honda accord 08 and what size tires should fit? I know 255/35/20 don't fit because I had them on n Damage the tires. The tires were scraping and pilling anytime I run a pothole
- What tire size should I get to go from 14 rims to 16 rims for my '99 Honda Civic Dx? Stock size is P185/65R14 but I would like to go up two rim sizes. I would like to know what would be the best tire size be so that it doesn't affect my speedometer/ odometer drastically. I live in Southern California so if you could recommend which would be best that would be great!
