Do I need to use my crossover w/o amp if the stock speakers have tweeter?

Okay so I just bought some component speakers for my 2000 Honda Prelude and i do not have an amp for them, just the door speakers in the front. The stock system has a tweeter/woofer already separate. Can i just simply replace the speakers without using the crossover and how? Or do i need to involve the crossover and how do i hook it all up without an amp… P.S. I just installed an aftermarket radio too so how do i hook up to it if possible?

The tweeters are blocked from receiving lows and mids with a capacitor in series on their voice coil. You do not need any further filtering. You're asking about a lot of stuff that just discussion won't help with. The instructions that came with your system will help you a great deal when you look them over. If your stock stereo has separate out puts for woofers and tweeters through a crossover, that will present other challenges. The component speakers can be used, but just not the same way the stock ones were. I would guess the crossover is gone with the stereo you removed.
