Should I finance my car with a down payment for a car or should I zero down and refinance later?
I've been thinking about getting the Honda fit for a while now and my budget is about 10000 for the car. I make about 1200 a month and even though I have good credit, it's been less than a year since I started building credit. I can afford 300 a month but if it's less than that then I'm cool with that too. I currently have a 2002 Honda accord that my dad bought for me two years ago and it's already salvaged. And I recently like two days ago found out that I have really bad frame damage
Finance car with a down payment
Income is too low to finance. Certainly not with zero down.
You can't afford it, plain and simple. Besides, no one will give you a car loan with that level of income. Your dad would have to cosign.

- Paid $4k down payment but it is not subtracted from payoff price? I bought a 2015 Honda Accord recently. I got the bill today the payoff amount was $30k. But I put $4k down payment so I can get lower interest rate. The car is financed for 6 years and they told me it would be more than $4k in interests. So I would like to know should that 4 thousand dollars be subtracted from the total price?
- Large Down Payment on Car with Bad Credit? Hola friends, i'm a first time car buyer through a dealership with a credit score below 600. I'm looking at a used 2010 Honda Accord Coupe worth 12,000$ or less. If i put a 50% down payment (6,000$) will i still need a cosigner or will that be enough for them to give me the loan?
