Vertical exhaust hood stack on 91 toyota corolla wagon
I would really like to put in a vertical exhaust pipe from the header straight out of the hood.It is a 91 corolla with a 4a-fe 1.6 L engine. I spoke to a driver at a demolition derby who had a corolla with the same engine and he had a hood stack exhaust pipe. He said it was a direct fit manifold from a honda motor just flipped upside down. He didn't specify what honda it was off of though. Any ideas on a manifold that would fit on this motor upside down? It is an offset bolt pattern.Trying to keep away from having to cut and weld my own together.
Just realize that you will be blowing exhaust into the cab if you plan on using it for regular driving.
Also, need to run some sort of 4 pin hood setup as you will no longer likely be able to open the hood normally.
I think the guy is pulling your leg.
- Vertical shaft engine directly to a gear box? I have a honda vertical shaft 5.5 hp engine and i'm making a go kart out of wood. Could I directly connect the gear box that has the engaging part on it, to the engine? Do I need to put a chain? I'm trying to make this as simple as possible thanks. Ps. I'm only 13 and although I have a good vocabulary please talk in 13 year old words.

- What type of exhaust gasket should I use when fitting new exhaust? I would like to install new exhaust system on my car and was wondering if I use the flat oval shape gasket or round conical gasket or both? I'll be installing a backbox and centre pipe. It's a 1998 Honda Civic.
- What is better a 2014 Honda Civic or 2014 Toyota Corolla? I'm looking at these cars in terms of price and more "bang for your buck." Both seem interesting to me and I have yet to test drive them. The Honda Civic seems like it is the better car based on reviews but the newly redesigned Toyota Corolla looks better than previous versions and is slightly cheaper than the Civic. Which one should I consider looking towards? Please do not mention any other car, I'm only focused on these two at the moment.
