I lost my key to my Honda tires what are my options? - 1
Dear Jen,
An option would be to have the locks drilled out by your auto mechanic. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to reply to your question.

Visit your local area Honda dealership if the wheel locks are OEM. If they are not OEM you'd have to contact the original manufacture of the after market locks.
When you get this figured out, just get 4 regular lug nuts and get rid of the stupid key. What are the odds that somebody is going to steal your factory rims anyway? My 13 year old car has them and they're just a nuisance!
Go to dealer parts department with your VIN number and have them cut new keys.
No brainer really
- If my 92 honda key isn't working, can I replace just the part where the key goes in, or do I have to do more? They are telling me that with installation, it will be like $300 at least, My friend just had the same problem, but in an much older pick up, but she said they just replaced a small part where they ket goes in?
- When should I do an oil change, rotate tires, and balance tires? I purchased a brand new 2013 Honda Civic LX Sedan in just this past february. I'm currently at 7,300 miles. I scheduled an oil change, tire rotation, and tire balance for this upcoming Saturday. Is that too much for a brand new car? I wasn't really sure.
