Is Honda Fiancial the same as Capital One? Why did I receive a bill from Capital One?
Added (1). I recently bought a Honda car and this is the first payment I make. However, My first bill statement came in by mail today with Capital One Financial. I thought I had financed through Honda Financial.
Honda Finance may have sold the loan to Capital One. It happens.
Honda Finance could have sold the loan to Capital One.
Or, perhaps Honda Finance would not finance you for the loan agreement you signed so the dealer shopped it over to Capital One.
It shouldn't matter as long as your payments, loan agreement and interest rates are the same as what you signed.
I suggest you call or go to the dealership and talk to the finance guy you worked with. He should be able to clear everything up for you.
Finance companies often "sell" their loans to other finance companies. All the details stay the same (payment amount, interest rate, etc.). You simply send your payments to a different address.
Somewhere in the papers you signed, there was a statement that said your finance company could "assign" your loan to another company if they wanted. By signing the papers, you agreed to that condition.
- NYS Registering Motorcycle with no bill of sale? Recently bought a 1986 honda rebel off a guy who was moving. I have the title and he signed the title over to me. Now when i go to register it the DMV says i need a bill of sale. I have no way to get in contact with the guy who sold it to me. Is there anything I can do to get this registered?
- How to title a motorbike that has no title or bill of sale? I have a Honda CT70 that was purchased at an auction many years ago. I do not have a bill of sale and the bike was never titled because it was never street legal. I would like to restore it and get it titled to ride around town. Any help is appreciated. And I live in Wisconsin as well.
- If one or two ISP's ban a site and raise prices, can a new one rise up and compete? Why? Why not? What about Honda/Toyota? Or ' MCI & Sprint muscling AT&T aside? Anyone remember Nucor Steel? Each of those took advantage of very different situations, each with seemingly impossible odds. Thing is, they were all LEGALLY allowed to compete. How about here?
