Honda cbr300r or Kawasaki Ninja 300abs/se?

I'm getting my first street bike and I've summed it down to the Honda cbr 300r or the Kawasaki ninja 300. The cbr is lighter and durable on The street, while the Kawasaki ninja is a bit heavier (about 15lb or so) than the cbr but It holds about 1.5 Gallons more and has a better fuel economy but, by the looks of it was made for the track. I've been on them both and liked them both, I understand everyone's different but I'd like to know what you guys and/or gals opinions on the two and I would like to hear on your experiences on the two. Thanks for the commentary and opinions and I'm excited to hear from you.

The Kawasaki is also a bit more expensive than the Honda, but it has ABS brakes as standard equipment while the Honda does not. Personally, I like ABS brakes, and I would choose the Kawi just because of that option.

Check Craigslist for used motorcycles. Your first motorcycle is going to fall down at least once. That'll be less heartbreaking if it's a used motorcycle.

I want a Honda CB300F. I don't like having a fairing that surrounds the forks. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Glad you are looking at the specs, but get something used. If you must buy a brand new bike, the Yamaha
R3 is the best of the three bikes according to Motorcycle Consumer News. But you really won't go wrong with any of them. Honda cbr300r or Kawasaki Ninja 300abs se - 1

The fact that the cbr300 is a single cylinder instantly makes it worse than the ninja 300 in my opinion.
