How hard is it to replace the piston rings in an 80's Honda 10hp?

I have a 1980's Honda 10hp, in one cylinder I have 105psi of compression and in the other I have 60 psi of compression. I believe this is greatly effecting the performance of it as it can't get my 12ft zodiac planing at full throttle with more than one person in it. I was wondering how difficult it is to replace the rings in it. I have a two stroke dirtbike so maybe that coil be a scale as to the difficulty? I know that being a four stroke it is more tricky because you have to deal the the timing and all but is it really that much harder?

  • Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
  • Motorcycle honda-1988-hurricane-1000F t-connector o-rings leaking? I was told i can just get some from the hardware store and they will work. i tried it and it leaked for a day but sealed up after the fuel made them swell. but after 3 days of no fuel in system they started leaking again… The honda shop wants 28.00 for 4 of them… any idea's out there. I really want to ride this bike a few times before i have to give it up for good…
  • Is this a busted piston ring in my 97 Honda Recon? I think I have a busted piston ring on my 97 Honda Recon. It blows smoke but runs fine, I just got through changing the oil for the first time in a long time and it started it. I thought it was to much oil but it still does it but i haven't ran it that much. Is it a busted ring?
  • Is it hard to do an oil change on a 1992 honda prelude automatic transmission? So i have an automatic 92 honda prelude. Its a 2.2l engine non vtech, and I've been wondering if i should do an oil change on the tranny. Main questions i have are, is it hard? Would i need to change the filter? Or simply just drain out the oil and add new oil in? Any help will be well appreciated. I want to do this on my own i don't want to spend over 100 dollars at an auto shop lol.
