How likely am I to be able to get finance on a motorcycle at 18?

I'm currently 18 years of age and want to get a nice new 125cc (honda cbf125 or yamaha ybr125/mt125) for running around London, how likely am I to be able to get it on finance and what does it depend on? If anyone could explain this in simple terms that I d understand then I d appreciate it, I have no license yet or anything but if I'm able to sort out finance etc. Then I ll be getting my cbt done.

Unless you have a means of income you are unlikely to get financing and if you do find place to lend you the money it will be at a rather high rate of interest. See if you can do a co-sign with someone through a personal loan at a bank as they will usually have lower interest. Or are these finances given to most people? I was wondering whether my age etc. Could stop me from getting it? If you have full time employment and a good credit history, no problemo dude. No credit is bad credit. Sorry kid. Depends. Take six months worth of bank statements with you to show you can afford to pay it off. You're going to get a better deal at a dealership than a bank, many dealerships are offering 0% deals but as before, take six months of bank statements. If you have no credit history. Try getting a credit card, you don't have to spend much on it but paying it off in full (even if it just £10 or $10) every month improves your credit score.
